Adhesive Films
These thermoplastic or thermosetting materials are available in electrically conductive, electrically insulating, and electrically insulating/thermally conductive forms.
Supported Adhesive Films
Adhesive films are available that are supported with a variety of carriers. The support media is a layer of material in the adhesive mass. Support media include woven and non-woven glass, non-woven carbon fiber, nickel mesh, and silver mesh.
Coated Adhesive Films
TechFilm offers adhesives coated onto various substrates. In this case the adhesive mass rides on the carrier surface. Substrates typically used include aluminum foil, Kapton and polyester (PET).
Preforms
TechFilm offers preform adhesive systems that are made by die cutting, stenciling, printing or a variety of other techniques. The exact shape is determined by specific customer specifications. The preform may be supported or unsupported.
Preforms and Films Containing Spacer Beads
TechFilm products are available with glass bead filler which is used to achieve a uniform bond line thickness. The amount of glass bead added to the adhesive typically ranges between 0.75% to 4.0%.
Composite Preforms
Techfilm has the ability to produce preforms by combining electrically conductive and electrically insulative B-stage materials into a single preform.
Area Bonding Conductive (ABC)* Adhesives
TechFilm offers a variety of ABC adhesives. These adhesives are used to bond electronic components to various substrates.
Non-Film Adhesives
